Course selection season is upon us! The school administration are meeting with all students entering grades 9 through 12 next year to distribute the course selection sheets and provide information about the graduation program.

Please don't hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns or would like to make an appointment to discuss course options for next year.
To assist students and families, we have update our Course Handbook for this year:
There are three concepts that we hope all students and families can come to understand to make this process as productive and positive as possible:
- Nothing is written in stone. That is, this process indicates students' preferences for courses next year. We use this information to construct a timetable that will work for the entire school. A student's timetable is not confirmed until the first 10 days of the semester, so there is lots of time to change one's mind and reconfigure a timetable! We do appreciate, however, knowing students' preferences as accurately as possible for next year.
- Secondary school graduation does not equal post-secondary entrance. Meeting our graduation requirements will not necessary allow students to pursue their post-secondary desires. Students should look at entrance requirements for the programs they think they may be interested in pursuing and use that as a starting place for course selection. Try to choose courses that will keep as many doors open as possible.
- You can mix and match your classes in Grades 10-12. Are you going into Grade 10, but passionate about psychology? Then take Psychology 12 in Grade 10! Do you want to get your math out of the way? Then take Math 10 and 11 in your Grade 10 year! We can develop timetables that will suit students interests, even if that means they don't take all their Grade 10 classes in their 10th year, Grade 11 classes in their 11th year, etc.
Please don't hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns or would like to make an appointment to discuss course options for next year.
