Dear St. Francis of Assisi students and families,

A Valentine Prayer
I said a Valentine prayer for you
and asked the Lord above
to fill your heart and bless your soul
With the precious gift of love.
I asked Him for sincere love
The kind that's meant to stay
Just like the generous love
You give to those you touch each day.
I prayed for love from family
And from every cherished friend
Then I asked the Lord to give you
His love that knows no end.
 
Reminder: the deadline for the Explore Programme is Wednesday, February 15. Explore is an intensive French-immersion program that is offered during the spring and summer. If you are interested in learning or improving French and travelling to a new part of Canada, then Explore might be the perfect program for you.  Note: You do not have to have any experience or previous knowledge of French to participate in this program.
 
For high school participants 16 and older, EXPLORE institutions offer summer sessions, which last between 31 and 33 days. For 13- to 15-year-olds, three-week summer sessions are available.

St. Francis Clubs
Ping-Pong Club
If you have been noticing the 'tick tick tock' sounds emanating from Rm. 17, it’s because there's a new table in the school!
The ping pong table is open everyday to all who would like to play - during first break and lunch time. BUT.....Preference and table reservations are given to Club Members only!. Free to join and NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Come and talk to Mr. Craigen to sign up. Or, if you notice the table is free, just come in and play a game with your friends!
