Yukon's curriculum is changing.
A revised curriculum for grades K through 9 will be implemented in Yukon schools starting next year. A new graduation program will follow for Grades 10 through 12 in subsequent years. Vanier has been implementing parts of the revised curricula for the last several years and we are looking forward to continuing this process. Yukon Education is making presentations at school council meetings throughout the territory. Vanier's presentation is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, February 20 at 7:00 pm in the Vanier Library. (It will be preceded by Vanier's School Council meeting starting at 5:30 pm - all are welcome!) We realize this is short notice - if you are interested in the presentation and can't make tomorrow's at Vanier, there are several others scheduled for the Whitehorse area with the same content.
