Counselling Supports Available for Hamilton Boulevard MVA

Our prayers go out to the families and friends of the young people who were tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident on Hamilton Boulevard on May 13.  We also pray for the repose of the souls of those who died and healing for the others involved.

At this time (May 14) we are not aware of any direct connection between this accident and the Vanier Catholic Secondary school community.

As Yukon is small and tightly knit, we are sure that this accident will have an impact within our community - our school counsellors are available to provide support to anyone who requires it. 

In addition, Skookum Jim Friendship Centre is also offering counselling support for the public: A counsellor will be available on-site (3159 3rd Ave, Whitehorse) during the following dates and times (closed 12-1 for lunch):

Wednesday, May 15 - 9:00-4:30
Thursday, May 16 - 9:00-3:00
Friday, May 17 - 9:00-4:30
