St. Francis Update
Week of May 29th to June 2nd
Dear St. Francis of Assisi students and families,
This weekend, the Church celebrated Pentecost, one of the most important feast days of the year that concludes the Easter season and celebrates the beginning of the Church. Pentecost is when Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to fill and equip each believer, to work and gather in the spiritual harvest. The Holy Spirit of Love surrounds us all the time - forever. Let us remember God’s powerful Spirit of Love, which brings life, even life out of death.
Dear God,
You sent your Spirit to be with the disciples,
filling them with joy, peace and courage.
May we also be filled with your Spirit,
be brave and share your peace in our world.
Help us to share the good news,
And spread your love to one another.
In Jesus name, Amen!

Locker Clean-up
The last day of classes is June 7! All students will be required to clean out their lockers on or before Wednesday June 7th. Lockers will not be available for use during exams.

Exam Schedule
The schedule for exams is now posted on the school website. Please click here. If there are any conflicts – for example, you are scheduled for two exams at the same time – please see Ms. Ouellette so that we can arrange a different time.

St. Francis Stars
Congratulations to St. Francis students: Grade 11 student Evan Howells who won a bronze medal in the senior category at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Edmonton for his science fair project comparing the foraging patterns of native bumble bees and honey bees in the Yukon.
Congratulations to grade 10 student Jack Nguyen who placed 6th in Carpentry at the 2023 Skills Canada National Competition in Winnipeg. Great work!!
