 All Vanier students, their families and all members of the Yukon Filipino Community are invited to join us on June 1 as we celebrate (a little bit early, we know!) the Philippines Independence Day. This day will feature a sharing of Filipino Culture, including authentic food!
The tentative schedule is: 11:09am to 11:50am: Presentation in small gym approx. 11:50am, Singing of Canadian and Philippines national anthems outside at the flagpoles noon to 1pm, front lawn: Filipino buffet lunch for everyone,game of sepa (like volleyball with your feet) and basketball and beach volleyball games going on (Lunch is free for everyone but we'll accept donations to Red Cross to aid in continuing Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts) Comments are closed.
