Dear St. Francis of Assisi students and families, This is a reminder that tomorrow, Friday October 10th, all staff will be participating in professional development, therefore, there is no school for students. On Monday, October 13th, it is Thanksgiving Day. There is no school on Monday either. We look forward to seeing our students back at school on Tuesday morning. Verification Form Packages Due to the Canada Post strike we are extending the submission deadline for returning the student verification form packages. The deadline is now October 31st. If you have not received a package please email [email protected] to request that one be sent home with your student. A Message from the Student Support Services Branch, Department of Education During the 2025 – 2026 school year all Individualized Education Plans (IEP) will transition to a competency-based format, and Student Support Plans (SSP) will follow suit from 2026 – 2027. More information can be found in the document attached. In addition, a letter will be sent home by the end of the month to all families of students’ currently on an IEP or Student Support Plan.
