Dear St. Francis of Assisi students and families,
Prayer Lord Jesus, Master of both the light and the darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas. We who have so much to do and seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day, We who are anxious over many things look forward to your coming among us. We who are blessed in so many ways long for the complete joy of your kingdom. We whose hearts are heavy seek the joy of your presence. We are your people, walking in darkness, yet seeking the light. To you we say, "Come Lord Jesus!' Amen Thank You Thank you to all of the people – students, staff, parents, community members - who have participated in the events held in our school over the past couple weeks. Share the Spirit, Christmas Craft Fair, School Dance, and many others would not be possible without volunteers, donations and participants. Thank you all for your contributions in supporting these activities. Service-Learning Grades 8 and 9 Grade 8 and 9 Service-Learning hours are due FRIDAY JANUARY 10th. All students must complete their volunteer hours and written assignment by this time. Merch Store Open for a Limited Time! Our basketball and music merch store is now open and can be accessed at https://urstore.ca/group/stfa-music-and-basketball. This works just the same as our previous stores. You place the order, and everything will get shipped to the school to be distributed. This means free shipping for you! To customize any of the basketball gear, simply click the 'back view' to find the personalization option. The music hoodie can also have personalization added to the left sleeve by clicking that view option. $5 from the sale of every item comes back to the school to support our music and sports programming and students, so happy shopping.
