We come into your presence and ask you to give us your light and your constant guidance for the path we must follow.
Grant that what is of heaven may be revealed on earth, that we may rejoice in the good and beautiful things you give to all people,
Strengthening our hope for this goal.

The Yearbook 2025 will be on sale starting April 1st to April 28th. After that, books will no longer be purchasable - reserve your copy today! 40$ a book and it will arrive in the fall at St. Francis. Grade 7 Information Night 
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Secondary School is currently accepting applications for admission for the 2025-2026 school year. For more information and the necessary form, please visit the Admissions page on our school website sfacss.ca. 
 
SOGI Review
The Yukon Child and Youth Advocate Office (YCAO) is conducting a comprehensive review of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Policy for Yukon public schools at the request of the Minister of Education. The public engagement is happening until April 2025.
We want to hear from you, students, school staff, family members, school community members, YFN Education staff, community partners, school boards and EDU staff.
There are several ways to get involved:

1. Complete the online survey
2. Schedule a focus group with Paige Galette at [email protected]
3. Schedule an individual conversation with Anya Braeuner at 867 456 5577, [email protected]
4. Share about the review and encourage staff, students, and family members to share their experiences.

Once the review is complete, the report will be tabled in the Legislature in the Fall of 2025.

Literacy and Numeracy Assessments for Grade 10
Please be advised that grade ten students will write their BC Literacy 10 assessment on April 8th and BC Numeracy 10 assessment on April 10th.
 
Run Club
This year, the St. Francis and FH cross-country running teams will be training together. Practices will alternate between the two schools and will go from 3:30-4:30. St. Francis will host Mondays and FH will host Wednesdays.  Participants will have the opportunity to race in Carmacks on May 9th, at the St. Francis Run on May 15th, as well as at the Forestry Run in Haines Junction on May 23rd.
