Dear St. Francis of Assisi students and families, We are officially into our second semester and our educators were to welcome back our students this morning. To our new students and their families, and any others who are coming to us for the first time; we welcome you to the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Secondary school community. Please read below for important information: This Wednesday, students do not have early dismissal; In their last period, they will be in their period 3 class. Scent Free School: Just a reminder that we have a no-scent policy within the school as we have a number of students and staff with sensitivities, so we ask our students to please refrain from perfumes/colognes. Report Cards: This week, the administration team will be reviewing report card marks before printing. You should expect to receive your child’s report card by mail at the beginning of next week. If you have moved and/or your address has changed, please contact the office at 667-5901 so we can input those changes in our system. Schedule Changes: Please be advised that students have until the end of the week (Friday January 24th) to make schedule changes. Students wanting to change their schedule must put their name down on the schedule change sheet in the office. Wood Street: The applications for Wood Street Centre programs are due: January 27th, 2024 http://woodstreetcentre.yukonschools.ca/applications.html If you need any assistance or information regarding the application/process, please contact Kris Bruneau at 867-667-8413 or [email protected]. CSSC Mercier New Program: The CSSC Mercier has the great pleasure to announce that we will be providing a French speaking performing arts program for grade 10 students next year. The program TADM (theatre, arts, dance, and music) has a mission of offering to grade 10 students a rigorous training in the performing arts in a French language setting. Students who are following an intensive French program at our school in grade 9 can apply. This semester program (January to June 2026) allows students to have access to professional level workshops and training from teachers and artists.
