Clare Cherepak, 1998-2014

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the sudden and tragic loss of one of our students.  Clare Cherepak died on August 9 in a motor vehicle accident.  Her smile, warmth and humour will be missed by staff and students alike.

The school will be open and counsellors available during the following times this week:
Monday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday 12 noon to 4 p.m.

There is also a wall in the front foyer where messages and photos can be posted publicly.  Personal messages can also be written or delivered and we will pass those along to Clare's family.

UPDATE (Aug 11, 11:45 am)  To honour Clare's compassionate and giving nature, the Cherepak family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following organizations that will assist Yukon's marginalized and less fortunate population:

UPDATE (Aug 11, 1:00 pm)  A memorial service for Clare will be held at Vanier Catholic Secondary School in the gyms on Thursday, August 14 at 2:00 p.m.
